We loved the hotel and both Rosario and Angel were the best at making us feel welcome and well taken-care-of..

Tito was a wonderful guide and, yes, we got a marlin the first day, and a marlin and dorado on the third day. We got skunked on the fishing on Day 2, but had a beautiful day on the water and at one point were “swimming” with over 100 dolphins.

Saw whales, sea turtles, seals, dolphins, in addition to lots of manta rays and marlin.

Overall, it was really a great trip and we’re already talking about coming back.

My family and I live here in Cabo, and decided to take a little getaway from the everyday rat race and venture to Los Barriles. There we discovered your hotel. We have lived all over the world, and I would have to say that your hotel provided the most “homey” atmosphere, that I would stay there one hundred times over.

We were so impressed of the beautiful rooms, pool, hot tub, and the best part of our stay was, hands down, your staff. Everyone there went out of their way to make our stay the best ever.

When the world is so often spinning out of control, it is nice to see some places are still honoring the traditional values of a welcoming warm place. Thank you for providing us the opportunity to just catch our breaths.

Trip was great! I have never seen so many billfish. Our group caught and released 12 striped marlin, 1 sailfish, 21 small roosters, 3 Tuna, 1 20lb Toro and a jack crevalle. Hotel was outstanding, especially Giovanni. Also, the Boats were very good with a good crew.

Dear Los Barriles Hotel: I booked a fishing trip through East Cape Fishing in October, 2000 and was extremely pleased with the accommodations that were provided by Hotel Los Barriles. My experience with the Hotel was so enjoyable that I couldn’t stay away. My second trip in April 2001 was even better!

The Hotel is absolutely beautiful. The rooms large and exceptionally clean. The Hotel staff and crew are extremely friendly and go out of their way to be of service. The off beach location make for a relaxing and laid back atmosphere, away from the hustle of the daily fishing charter / beach traffic yet is barely a 5 minute walk away.

The restaurants and shopping mall are within walking distance. I even made some friends in Los Barriles that I keep in touch with. What more could a person ask for? Thanks for the experience and friendship. I’ll see you folks on trip # 3 this October, 2001.
